The challenge
PKIS distributes industrial pipe, valves and fittings. Requests for quote arrive as emails and PDFs, often scanned, from large refinery and plant customers. Each one meant hours of reading, re-keying and SKU lookups, and some scanned RFQs simply got lost.
What we built
Inbox ingestion
A worker monitors the sales mailbox through Microsoft Graph and picks up every RFQ and attachment automatically.
OCR that doesn't drop pages
Text-layer extraction for clean PDFs. For scans, vision OCR reconciled with Tesseract and checked by an adjudicator.
Dual-model extraction
A classifier screens for real RFQs. A fast model extracts line items, a larger model re-extracts them blind, and any disagreement is flagged for review.
ERP catalog matching
Line items are matched to ERP SKUs and checked against each customer's approved-manufacturer list.
Industrial CRM
Accounts, contacts, manufacturers, opportunities, extraction and duplicate review, quotes and dashboards in one place.
Private GPU inference
Everything runs on an on-prem NVIDIA GB10 behind a logging proxy, so customer data never leaves the building.
