Executive KPI dashboards and compliance reporting for a multi-state therapy provider. That work became Horizon Care Ops, our multi-tenant care-operations platform.
The challenge
VHS runs therapy programs across many facilities in several states. Leadership couldn't see which buildings were off target, documentation deadlines slipped, and the clinical EHR offered no API to pull data from.
What we built
Executive dashboards
KPI targets, building-level risk flags, Director-of-Rehab views and missed-visit tracking, all configurable per role.
Compliance reporting
Missing signatures, documentation due dates, billing and scheduling reports that used to take days of manual work.
Integrating a system with no API
Automated scrapers export EHR reports on a schedule, with gap repair. Later they ran on ephemeral Windows VMs orchestrated by Kubernetes.
Private AI assistant
A streaming assistant served by self-hosted vLLM and proxied server-side, so models and PHI are never exposed to the browser.
Productized as Horizon Care Ops
This became Horizon Care Ops, our own SaaS platform: scheduling, a PRN shift waterfall, care plans, a reimbursement rate engine and AI session notes, with one fully isolated stack per tenant.
